Mr. Mergenthaler received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Akron in 1978 and his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1981. Mr. Mergenthaler practices in the areas of civil litigation, criminal and traffic defense and representation of employers in workers' compensation matters. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Central Ohio Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations. Mr. Mergenthaler serves on the Board of Directors for the Optimist Club of Columbus, is a charter member and officer of the Knights of Columbus Council #11445, and is a member of TWE Columbian Martyrs, Fourth Degree Assembly No. 2380.
