Cooper, Elliott & Sonderman Legal Services Plan LLC is managed by Andrew J. ("Andy") Sonderman. He has broad-based experience in energy law & has represented public utilities in civil & regulatory proceedings for many years. In addition to his years of personal experience representing clients in tort litigation & pursuit of claims, he has over thirteen years of experience as general counsel for public utilities located in nine states in the Northeast & Midwest affiliated with the Columbia Energy Group and, subsequently, NiSource, Inc.
Mr. Sonderman effectively integrates his extensive legal background & managerial experience to identify risks & opportunities for the Firm's clients, recommending solutions that address legal & operational concerns cost-effectively. Andy received his B.A. from Kent State University with highest honors; he graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Law.
